Munich: mostly enjoyable. Paris: wonderful. Even though it rained, the celebrations didn't get stopped any. I did read reports of vandalism occurring during the festivities. At least they didn't start until after we went to the Louvre. Of course, I rather like the Louvre and was able to view a few items being restored. I learned a few things which I sent on to the restoration department of the firm. Brought back a few things I found in a back alley bookstore to work on.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get to Vienna or Copenhagen over this break. Perhaps the next one. This summer, I'd like to try climbing Rishiri-dake or Asahi-dake in Hokkaido. However, I'll have to wait to finalize any plans until I know what the summer work load will be like.

My grades were superb, especially in history and the various languages I am taking. Though, my Spanish isn't quite as good as my French. I will probably work in Spanish for a little bit to enhance my understanding.

I was able to get caught up on Hetalia and finished Miracle Train on the flight back to Japan. I knew Shinjuku was right about the conductor. Though, now I'll need a new show to start watching when I have spare time.

Christkindl Markt was nice, although the lack of snow rather caused the atmosphere to be lacking. The weather in Munich has been shifting between rain and somewhat cloudy. I was hoping for snow when we make the trek to Neuschwanstein, but I see the snow is only supposed to hit after we have left for Paris. Even there, the schedule is for rain. I suppose I should be thankful we had plenty of it in Japan before we left for break.

Thank you, everyone, for the gifts. Sengoku, yours amused me greatly. Saeki, Oshitari. I almost think you believe I am unstylish. Regardless, they came in handy for an impromptu board meeting I had. Ryoma, Atobe, Oishi, Kabaji. Your gifts will be very helpful in the future. Sanada, I suppose this means I'll turn your gift against you at practices in the spring. I look forward to it. Ohtori, the music was a good choice. Yanagi...I'm not even going to ask.

The flight thus far have been problem free. We are taking the train to Paris. I think Karupin has had enough of flying for awhile, but there's only one more for when we return on the 2nd. There simply wasn't enough time to head to Vienna and Copenhagen over break. Not with family obligations. Speaking of which, they went a lot better than I expected.

Hope the holidays are pleasant for you all.

Received another star. I'm pleased with myself for getting it, but not for the reasons attached. I suppose good things will come out of unfortunate circumstances, regardless. I believe that Saeki and I currently are the closest to Lion. I wonder if that would allow for escaping the insanity that has submerged Sole as of late.

Finals are going well. Even with the influx of people at the library, it's been relatively easy to get studying done. I feel confident that I'll do better than I did at mid-term.

I've already taken my Secret Santa gift to Sakaki-san. Even though I'm not staying for the ball, I feel like it would be prudent to hand out the other gifts I have sometime between now and Friday.

Finals are in a week. I have no doubts that I will do well on them, nonetheless, I've decided to up my studying. As usual, I'll hole myself up in the library. Though, I would not be adverse to a study group regarding certain subjects.

This year I'll be skipping the Masquerade Ball. The window for getting a lot of visiting done between the end of semester and Christmas is rather tight. Even if I did go, I don't think I would appreciate the select number of girls who find it necessary to poke at my cheek in a poor attempt to get me to smile.

Sengoku, watching Miracle Train with you was quite enjoyable. Though, I am still unsure why you think I am similar to Shinjuku.

Kikumaru, when is the snowball war?

Gifts have been bought and have various arrival dates. They all should arrive by the 14th. I'm hopeful that they will be well received.

Kyushu was nice. After some business, I sneaked away and climbed Kirishima on a whim. It wasn't as daunting as the Matterhorn, but it was a good climb nonetheless. I would like to go climbing again when I take a trip back to Germany; perhaps on the next extended break. I haven't decided yet.

Classes are going well. I still feel quite bored, but I suppose that happens when you do outside reading for the fun of it. Speaking of that... Oshitari, I have come across a leather-bound edition of "The Complete Romances of Voltaire". I thought you would be interested in it and regardless of your disinclination for gifts, I am quite sure you will find this one appealing. When you have a moment, perhaps I could drop it off.

Saeki. Sanada. When would you like to spar?

(ooc: Yuushi's gift is like this.)
