I spoke with my father the other evening. Mother wants to attend "Carmen" in Copenhagen and fortunately unfortunately, the only weekend they could get tickets for fell on family visitation. Father was almost adamant about flying out. I think he mentioned something regarding 'not wanting to see "Carmen" for the 5th time', but I told him in no uncertain terms that mother would not be pleased if he flew out here without her and did not accompany her to the opera. He relented finally and I charged him with the task of perusing a select list of bookshops in Copenhagen for materials. I emailed him the list while we were on the phone. While he prattled away about the Munich offices and whether or not I would consent to procuring a bigger space, I finished up the quarterly financial reports and a couple of papers for class.

Atobe, thankfully dinner last week did not cause me to fall ill, but it seemed to have a domino effect of everyone else around me. We should do it again sometime since you are now mercifully better. Are your parents coming down for the visitation weekend? Why does it sound like we are in prison? How is the search going for the missing funds? You've been relatively quiet about it since Kabaji brought home the gigantic panda, so I admit curiosity. Though, if I am prying too much, feel free to tell me as such.

Regardless of whatever feelings my butler has for the "scientist" in Ombra, I swear that the next time I see him, I am going to put him out of commission for at least a month.
