(no subject)

I officially took over my grandfather's firm over the weekend. It went smoothly due to the months upon months of preparation. I have no doubts of my abilities to maintain current levels of productivity until I have graduated. Though, I would like to increase it by 5% over the next two years. I've put my father in charge of European and both American operations while I take on the rest since it is a smaller market and will be easier to manage while I focus on my studies. Of course, nothing will be released without my approval.

I am contemplating working on "The Picture of Dorian Gray" next. Though, I don't know what language to use. The manuscript that has been sent to me is from 1944, though I'm still looking for both the 1890 magazine publication and the 1891 bound format. I suppose I shall see what the next batch of materials brings me.

Ryoma, perhaps it would be in your best interest to be nicer to your butler. Granted, he seems to be rather abrasive, but he has a big mouth and I do not wish for your rise in rank to be affected. Also, for the time being, spending more time in your rooms would also be beneficial to getting you into Luna quicker.

Of course not. I thought you knew that.

As of late, you've been ignoring me. I was doing a whole lot better when you spent time with me.

I don't expect you to care enough to explain it to simple people like me.

Sorry, I didn't know you thought so highly of me. Like I said, I'll stay out of your hair from now on.

And I'll still surpass you, while I'm at it.

I thought it was pretty damn clear what I want.

You'll see me more than try, if you care enough to look.

Even if I can't have it, don't be telling me what I want and don't want.

Sorry, I didn't realize I had to earn your love. Doesn't change the fact that I'm still going to beat you, though.

I never needed you, anyway.

And I will beat you. Just sucks that I'm gonna have to get close enough to pass you.

You only wish.

You'll be gone before you ever get remotely close to catching back up to me. I'm sure you'll be glad never to see me again, though.

I've never been dependent on anyone, only made the mistake of loving a patronizing jackass.

Doubt all you want, I'll still beat you.

Done, since I know it's what you want. Now leave me the fuck alone.

You don't have to tell me.

Congratulations Tezuka-kun :)

I have no doubt that you will fulfill your duties extremely well.

I'll cook you dinner sometime this week to celebrate.

Rightly so.

It is nothing. I look forward to it :)

I'm afraid I find it difficult to ignore a Wilde text when it's mentioned. Dorian Gray is a pet of mine and so I would suggest French as my unofficial two cents. I'm sure the author would have rather liked it.

A brilliant exploration of the darkest recesses of one's mind, and a most... hypnotising protagonist. And I would most certainly love a copy.

That's a compliment, Tezuka, and as I said, it happens to be one of my favourites.
