Given recent events,I assured my father that things were fine here, even though, by all standards they are not. In any case, I have canceled my plans to go into Tokyo this weekend. However, I am positive that Saeki will return safely.

Fuji, if there is anything I can help you with, please, let me know.

I paused on my translation of The Picture of Dorian Gray to go through Sherlock Holmes again before I send it on for binding. Re-reading A Study in Scarlet reminded me of a parody I came across late last month. It is amusing to say the least and I find that the rendering is almost better than the original.

I believe I will have one of the research assistants look up the benefits of publishing for the e-readers, such as the Kindle, that I have seen being sold.

Thank you, Tezuka-sama, I will keep your offer in mind.

Are not e-readers the very items you do not want to flourish, Tezuka? Remove the printed word and you will be out of a business, na?

Dinner this week? I confess, company would be pleasing at this time.

An interesting notion and I suppose it would not detract from the hard copies in your collection, since I believe they are mainly antique?

I am open although it would be preferable to dine in my rooms since I wish to leave Fuji the option of joining us. He may feel like company with little warning and I would see him eat where possible.

A worthy past-time.

Tomorrow night? Unless events come to pass to change our plans?
